  • Tom

    Owner & CEO/President

    Tom Rave is the CEO/President of Imperial Stone, founding the company in August of 2005 with his wife, Amy. Originally from Greely, Tom received his associate’s degree from Kirkwood and chose to reside in the Dyersville area where he and Amy raised their family until moving to Lake Delhi in the more recent years.

    Tom and Amy have four children—Kayla, Lauren, Wade and Matthew, many of whom are a part of running the Imperial Stone business today. He is known as “Papa Tom” to Junior, Londyn, and Shiloh and he and Amy have a pet dog at home named Zoey.

    He loves seeing the ideas come together at Imperial Stone! Outside of work, Tom enjoys horses and spending time on their hobby farm. We thank Tom for his dedication to Imperial Stone and commitment to making the organization what it is today!

  • Amy

    Co-Owner & Chief Financial Officer

    Amy is the CFO/Vice President at Imperial Stone, having started the business with her husband Tom in August of 2005. After living in Dyersville for years, she and Tom now live at Lake Delhi. Amy grew up in Edgewood, a true Northeast Iowan at heart. She studied accounting and human resources at Upper Iowa University.

    Amy and her husband have four children—Kayla, Lauren, Wade, and Matthew as well as three grandchildren—Junior, Londyn, and Shiloh (and numerous grand-dogs and cats, too.) Many of Amy and Tom’s children are involved with the Imperial Stone business to this day, keeping the business are true family business. She is proud of the organization that she and Tom created and enjoys watching it being ran by the next generation. “We have the best employees!” says Amy.

    In her spare time, Amy enjoys reading, shopping, and spoiling her kids and grandkids. Thanks to Amy for her dedication and commitment to building Imperial Stone!

  • Lauren

    Sales Director

    Lauren Rave is the Sales Director at Imperial Stone. Lauren and her fiancé Tony live in Independence, splitting their work commute between the two of them. Together they have a dog named Phoebe and cat named Buck. Phoebe can be found at the Imperial Stone most days, occupying the title of “office dog” as much as she can.

    Lauren studied Interior Design at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids prior to joining the Imperial Stone team full-time. She enjoys the closeness of the team— “We are a family business, so our beliefs and values are closely aligned with core family values. We have fun together inside the office and outside the office.”

    While at work, Lauren enjoys using her interior design eye to help clients pick out their stone material and color to best fit their wants and needs, both functionally and aesthetically. “Imperial Stone offers a ton of options that can be overwhelming to some clients. I take clients through the process in detailed steps to make the selection and order process easier and less stressful. I really enjoy getting to know each of my clients during the process!” says Lauren. Outside of the office, Lauren enjoys reading and trying new “fancy” coffee.

  • Allison

    Business Manager

    Allison Supple is the Business Manager at Imperial Stone. Allison commutes to Dyersville from in Central City, but grew up in Earlville. Together with her husband, Matt she has two doodle dog babies. Allison attended Kirkwood Community College prior to joining our team.

    Allison’s favorite thing about working at Imperial Stone is that the team feels like one big family. “We’re always having fun together!” says Allison.

    Allison is a go-getter and wears multiple hats in her role at Imperial Stone. She says that a fun fact about her is that she knew nothing about granite or stone before starting at Imperial Stone!

  • Tracy

    Inside Sales/Retail

    Tracy Thein is an Inside Sales-Retail Consultant for Imperial Stone. She’s one of the newest members of our team, joining in November of 2023.

    Tracy lives in Dyersville, having grown up in the Bellevue/Dubuque area. She has two children, Austin and Alyssa as well as two step children, Jackson and Chloe. Tracy spent her college years in Dubuque at Loras College studying sociology.

    The friendly, family-like atmosphere is what she enjoys most about working at Imperial Stone.

  • Mitch

    Sales Consultant

    Mitch Gansen is a sales consultant for Imperial Stone. He’s originally from Farley and graduated from Loras College with a degree in Finance. He and his wife Libby have three children at home — a son, Crew and two daughters, Stevie and Kit.

    Mitch spends a lot of time on anything related to sports. Whether it is participating recreationally, coaching, or watching as a fan, he enjoys being around it. Mitch coaches wrestling at Western Dubuque as a volunteer and enjoys golfing. In the winter he usually tries to play pick-up basketball as much as time allows.

    Mitch will join our team while continuing his employment with Schebler Chimney Systems.

  • Matt

    Lead Installer

    Matt has been Imperial Stone’s full-time Lead Installer since 2019, however, he has been around the business his whole life as Tom and Amy, the owners, are his parents.

    He enjoys what he does and strives to make sure every job he installs is done to the best of his ability. Matt’s favorite part of installing is mastering the technique of matching the seam to the countertops.

    When not working, Matt enjoys going boating on the lake and spending time with his family and horses.

  • Steve

    Fabricator

    Steven Oberbroeckling is the Lead Polisher/Fabricator at Imperial Stone. Originally from Colesburg, Steve is an alum of Western Dubuque high school. He has two brothers and a sister as well as a nephew, Everett and niece, Delaney.

    Steve’s favorite part of working at Imperial Stone is the people. He says that his bosses are great and he enjoys who he works with! Outside of work Steven enjoys hunting and fishing.

  • Avery

    Template Specialist & Installer

    Avery has been a part of our Install crew as well as the Template Specialist at Imperial Stone since 2017.

    He also attended Kirkwood Community College for Welding and currently owns his own welding business, Avery's Welding and Fabrication. In his free time he enjoys welding and spending time with friends and family.

    You can always count on Avery to make the best of every situation, and his favorite part of installing is using special techniques to find the perfect seam match for the stone.

  • Wade

    CNC Operator / Shop Foreman

    Wade Rave officially joined our team in 2022 as our CNC Operator. He manages our water jet machine which cuts our stone slabs into the various shapes and sizes needing to go into our homes and businesses.

    Wade grew up in Dyersville and currently lives in town with his dog, Bandit. He attended the University of Northern Iowa studying Financial Management prior to moving back and joining the family business full-time.

    At Imperial Stone, Wade enjoys being able to get creative when laying out the stone slabs. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, spending time with his friends, family, particularly his nieces and nephews!

  • Sam

    Shop Guru

    Sam Ziel is our sort of “jack-of-all trades” guy in the shop at Imperial Stone.

    Sam wears a lot of hats at the shop and we are very thankful for his flexible attitude and ability to dive in to get the job done.

    Born and raised in Dyersville, Sam is local to Imperial Stone. He still lives in town today with his wife and two kids, all active in the community.
